Picnic day

Chatham Girl - The Exhibition
Go and see the exhibition 'Chatham Girl' at the Nucleus Gallery at the New Art Centre in Chatham this week. Work is featured by a wide range of artists, all with one thing in common - Zara Carpenter. Zara is my great great friend and fellow 'little bird', but she is also an amazing poet and life model. She has modeled for many talented artists and this exhibition puts on show some of the work produced of her. One of my photos that I made for Wendy Daws and Elisabeth Edlbauer of their acrylic Memory Dress (modeled by Zara) is featured as a 50x100 cm poster.
Also do read this great interview with Zara by Martin Cooper (who's a fine art photographer and also designer for Burberry - and who have worked together with Zara on a specific work around the pelvis)
