Free knitting patterns

I have posted about this site before, but just rediscovered it again myself and love it, so if you are in to knitting go here and check out these lovely 1920's knitting patterns. And if you really want to, (please!), make me that stripey scarf to the left. I'm not very good at knitting you see...

Cat love

I really want a cat. But I've always said I won't get one whilst living in a flat, I want the cat to be an outdoor cat, an adventurous cat. I'm still in a flat. And a little bit allergic too.
So, when I saw this cutie on the second hand shops bargain table, she just had to come home with me. She is now looking after my jewelery and maybe one day she'll get some real life cat action company.

Todays outfit

I shortened the dress and made a little bow of the off cut.
Oh, and I made some more jewelery today :)

Bonjour, bonne journée

Listening to french music this morning made me think of this film
and that I should really dig it out and watch it again. When it was released I lived in Finland. I watched it in a cinema in Helsinki and asked the ticketbooth lady if she had a spare poster. She did. It is big. And got the Finnish film title. Nice.
Mmm. I really should watch it again, for the imagery, colors, interiors and the general feel good.
And then book a weekend in Paris.

Me and E went to walk on the white cliffs of Dover on saturday. It was sunny, hazy and just perfect.

Grattis farmor

Today my grandmother would have turned 83. She passed away, 6 months ago, due to cancer.

I miss you so much farmor Svea,
I hope they've got cake in heaven for you today - dance on the clouds and whistle for us.
