KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON

I bought a reproduction of this poster yesterday. It's been around for a while and I wasn't planning to get one, but I just love the message behind it and the graphic simplicity with its striking colors.

Stuart and Mary Manley owns a secondhand bookshop called Barter Books in Northumberland. One day a customer brought in a box with old books and in that box was this old poster. Stuart and Mary framed the poster and put it next to their till. It became very popular with customers so they decided to reprint it and sell. By doing so they started an international craze.
You see this message printed on clothes, bags, different color posters etc, all over the world!

If you want to get one, go to Barter Books and get one straight from Stuart and Mary, it's printed from the original in the original red/white colors and it comes at a bargain £3.60.

For the history of the poster, which is great, go here.
