I went for an interview in Folkestone a couple of days ago. It was a beautiful day.
Isn't there something about this beach that is reminiscent of Venice Beach, L.A.?
Maybe it's the light? The haze and the long beach....? The hills... and the palmtrees.

Wow. I've only been to Folkestone once, earlier this year, for a gig. Meant to get down there for early afternoon and explore, but then the day went in a different direction and in the end I arrived early evening and only managed a 100 metre radius of the venue. Will definitely have to get down there again at some point.
Yes, this was actually the first time I've been. Went for an interview about an art commission - unfortunately didn't get it - it involved the local community, sharing stories, messages, love, etc etc, long story. Anyways, really quite liked it there and want to explore the place a bit more. Think there's quite a few things going on in the town with music and arts.
